Nihilumbra

Nihilumbra is an adventure game with puzzles and platforms where you have to follow a mysterious and dark character through a story that unveils as you progress through the game.

The gameplay combines platforms and puzzles in a way that's really original, just as we've seen in other successful indie games like Braid and The Bridge. In this case, you need to alter the setting using different magic powers in order to beat all the levels.

The main story is quite long, such that you could spend up to 10 hours in your first round just trying to figure out what's going on and why. The thing is that despite featuring puzzles and platforms, Nihilumbra has a pretty profound story.

The graphics and sound are great too. Visually, it's a real 2D wonder, and the soundtrack, by Alvaro Lafuente, makes being in front of the screen with your headphones a true joy.

Nihilumbra is an excellent platform game. Even though its arrival to Android has come somewhat late, it's finally here. In addition, once you finish the game, it still has some surprises to offer that will make you want to play it again.
